Palo Alto Cheese School

Classes are usually held at the Duveneck House at the Hidden Villa, 26870 Moody Rd, Los Altos Hills, CA, 94022. So here it is, something I have been dreaming of setting up for years and now I finally can. That said, the title "Cheese School" is perhaps a bit too pompous and officious for who I really am, how I see food and what I want this to be all about! But for the sake of easy branding, we can call it a School. My vision is to create an environment where a group of people can explore and learn about wonderful cheeses together, more of a social interactive experience then a formal "class" based format. When I thought of hosting the school at Hidden Villa, it seemed a perfect choice for me, such a beautiful venue with a natural rustic feel that will suit our needs exactly. What could be nicer than enjoying amazing cheeses together in an actual working educational farm, flanked by the Los Altos hills? Over the course of time I will be welcoming friends from the cheese industry to join us and share their knowledge and their delicious products, so it will not all be about me. I want this to be a fun forum of sharing, to gain better understanding and appreciation of cheese. I look forward to meeting with you. Ciao for now, Jaimie
